Your recommendations for Florence hotel

We will be in Florence in September, I'm checking websites for a hotel that would be central to the train/bus station. Thought I'd ask here if anyone has a favorite hotel. Not looking to spend over $200 a night. would like breakfast included, but not important. Wi-fi would be a plus. Links to website, or just an easy way to google the hotel for a reservation is appreciated.

We stayed at the Hotel dei Macchiaiolli (www.hoteldeimacchiaioli.com) in March 2011. It was in a great location (near the Accademia), was very reasonably priced, clean, quiet, comfortable, served an excellent breakfast, and had a very friendly and very helpful staff. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel, which is located on the second floor of a palace and has several public rooms (including the breakfast room) with frescoed ceilings; it is listed in Rick's Florence and Tuscany book.

Our favorite is the hotel Delle telle near the train station-elevator, breakfast, free internet, around 120E a night near the train station, the street markets, and the Medici chapel and the inclosed food market. Charlie and Paulo will not lead you astray!

We just spent four nights at the Il Bargello B&B. Great location, comfy atmosphere, rooftop terrace and well under 200 euros. We asked for a deluxe room and it had a private terrace which was really nice. I think we paid about 500 euros for four nights (that included a discount for paying cash). The only downside is that the is no elevator (it's on the 3rd floor).

Soggiorno Battistero, only a few blocks from the train/bus with the Baptistery right out my window. This is a RS recommended hotel with Wi-Fi and breakfast and quite reasonably priced. The plus for me, besides location, was the owner, Kelly, who is American. Communications were a breeze, and she made reservations for me at all the important sites. Only problem for me - no elevator, but otherwise perfect.

For value for money, location (near the station) and charm you would be hard to beat B&B Relais Tiffany. It is small, with four rooms, has a beautiful garden and a warm hearted host Giulia. The website - http://relais-tiffany-firenze.com I can't imagine visiting Florence without staying there now.
