My favorite restaurant in Florence is “The Golden View”. It overlooks the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. The view is amazing and the food and prices are very good. They have a website that you can access. Dinner reservations are required unless you plan on eating around 6:00 pm.

We had lunch at a great place. Excellent food, good ambiance, fine wine. Name is Olio & Convivium Gastronomia Restaurant and is on the Pitti Palace side of the river on Via di Santo Spirito. The web site is http://www.oliorestaurant.it/video_eng.php. Not too expensive at lunch but more so at dinner. Check it out and see if what you think.
