We will be in Venice for Yom Kippur/Kol Nidre (Day of Atonement) and would like to attend services in Venice. Do we have to get tickets like you do in the US or can we just show up?

What an awesome way to experience this most holy day. I don't know about the tickets but here is link to a site I found when searching for things Jewish in Venice.
Maybe there is contact information for the synagogue.
