WW2 sites in Rome

I'm gearing up for a trip to Rome with my grandson in three weeks. In researching Rome's more recent history I found a concise and helpful guide to WW2 sites in Rome, originally written for Loyola University students studying there. Perhaps I was just ill-informed previously, but I was surprised to learn of such amazing and horrifying events in Roman neighborhoods already familiar to me.

Very interesting reading. I'm only a few pages in and already learning about things I didn't know before. Thank you for sharing!

Jeff,

Interesting reading! Thanks for posting. I've visited some of the WW-II sites in Rome including the Fosse Ardeatine, but didn't realize there were so many significant sites.
