Traveling to Paris to see the museums would it be that difficult with all the tourists in From? Let's say August 6 through 15 August would not a good time to go I should wait till September. should go in September is this true?d? Everybody's scaring me saying that it's not a good time to go in Aug. Because of all the tourists and the children I should wait till September is it true or is it not true? Can I work around it and still have a nice time I have time off from about August 6 through the 20th. I could go for a week and a half to two weeks August 6 through August 15. Or I could wait till September.
September will have slightly fewer crowds if you go in the latter half of the month when the school year will have started everywhere in Europe and North America.
August will be hotter and have more international tourists, although the local Parisians will be largely gone to their beach vacation spots.
PS: Paris is in France, therefore you should post your question in the France section of this forum rather than in the Italy section.
September may have fewer tourists in the second half BUT September is a very busy time in Paris because of all the business conferences meaning hotels get more expensive rather than cheaper.
Arrived in Paris on 29th August (last year) and apart from the queue for Notre Dame, it wasn’t particularly crowded. We did Versailles (day trip) which was chaotic. It rained every day though.
You have posted this same question earlier. Perhaps delete the Italy post?
