There is an Etruscan site with the ruins of a palace. The name escapes me. But I think it wouldn’t be too hard to find via google. Also the Via Cave, an open tunnel walk created by the Etruscans.
If you get tired of ancient sites, very close to Capalbio, there is a pretty wonderful outdoor sculpture park, the Tarot Garden, which features the works of Niki de Saint-Phalle.
