We will be staying in Siena for 4 nights in September and would like to take a tour of wineries in the region. Does anyone have any suggestions of tours you have taken that include lunch? We would like the small group tour (there are 4 of us) with an interesting guide. The research I have done so far shows that the tours are fairly pricey so we would like to make it memorable. Thanks for your help.

I did a tour in October from Florence with Tuscan Wine Tours that was excellent. They also have tours that originate in Siena. It is pricey but it was a full day with lots of wine, lunch, education about the wine - and was one of the best days of my 17 days in Italy. The driver was easy to understand and personable. The tour was limited to 8 people. I highly recommend them.

I've used Roberto from Rick's book and TV show for tours around tuscany. He has several to choose from and will pick you up at your hotel in Siena. google tours by roberto.
