Winery day trip from Florence?

My husband and I will be in Florence for 3 nights in early April, 2019. I would really like to book a 1/2 day or full day trip that includes a winery and possibly Pisa. I've found a couple of wineries that I'm interested in: Capezzana (they even have a cooking class available) and Antinori (more for the architecture and wine, realize experience hasn't been rated well). But almost all of the tours I've found online do not list the specific wineries they will take you to. Could anyone share any advice?

Much appreciated, thanks!

hi dhayward6
here's a few sites to look at for wine tours. most don't list wineries for whatever reasons they want, closed that day, no tours available, wineries you want to go to may not be associated with guide, etc.

tuscan-wine-tours.com

will you be traveling anywhere after florence? hope this gives you some info to get you looking and decide on one.

Urge you to check out Verrazzano.com; they can arrange transportation from Florence along with a fantastic 4 or 5 course "lunch" with a flight of 4 or 5 wines and a Grappa finish, along with a tour prior. While you won't cook, you will experience classical Italian dishes. Also, if so inclined, they offer an excellent Vegan alternative to the carnivore experience. When we went, it was €48 each, however, I believe it's about €100 with round trip transportation from Florence, and they feed your driver while he(or she) waits until you finish. Oh, and yes, this is the estate of the Italian who first sailed through Verrazzano straits to the future New York!
