Has anyone have a winery accommodation to recommend in Tuscany (preferably near Sienna)? Thank you!

Wow... pretty cool castle, well, it will have to be for the next time because I've already made reservation for Marcini :-)

Danuta: There are gobs and gobs of wineries in Tuscany to choose from. Fire up your google machine and see what interests you. After several trips to the area here are two of our favorites: 1. Volpaia - located between Siena and Florence. Beautiful little village that has been completely and charmingly subsumed into the wine operations. Very nice wines, good food and they have accomodations. 2. Vignamaggio - Gorgeous estate with fantastic wines. This is the estate where Mona Lisa herself lived! Also the setting for Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing. Both wineries have great websites to explore. Have fun.

Sorry Eileen. I'll stop telling people how great is is. You're right, I should be thinking about future availability for those who found it first. My bad. I was just looking at the reviews for Agriturismo Marciano and someone (I'm guessing Beth) was talking about how she found out about Marciano from our meetings.

The annoying thing is that they don't respond to emails in timely fashion.

Highly recommend Frattoria Poggerino. Excellent winery / agriturissmo. It is in Radda in Chianti. It was an easy car ride to Siena. I will definitely return there!
