Do you know of any vineyards or wineries open in Southern Italy after the new year. Interested in tastiing local wines. Will be in Matera, Lecce, Gallipoli, Ostini and Pascara for two nights each. It should be a slower time of the year, any good resteraunts for a family that would be a reasonable price?

Deano, most of the restaurants in Puglia have excellent prices. Walk around and check out the posted prices. Look for places full of locals. That is what we did in Gallopoli and Matera. In Lecce, a good lo-cost dinner place is Alle due Corte. Post this same question on Trip Advisor, and check out the resposes that you receive.
