My mom & I will be driving through Tuscany in early September, probably taking Rick's recommended Tuscany Driving Tour. Does anyone have any winery suggestions that are around Montepulciano (other than the wineries near Montalcino that Rick mentions in the book)?

You might look at Avignonesi (https://avignonesi.it/en)
We're doing a tour and lunch there, also in Sept. The recommendation for this winery came from another post on this Forum
