You might also be interested in Vinum Alba, a yearly wine fest usually held last weekend of April, first weekend of May. See www.vinumalba.it for info on 2009 fest. Site hasn't been updated for 2010 fest yet. You can sample most if no all of the Piemonte including Barolos at Vinum Alba.
