We will be leaving Siena tomorrow morning and driving to Assisi. Can someone please recommend a place for wine tasting that is more "earthy" instead of fancy if you know what I mean?

If you're driving, you might want to take it easy on the wine tasting. The limits for impaired driving are very strict.

I don't know what you mean, but drive through Montefalco and then visit Arnaldo Caprai's winery. Then go over to Assisi, it isn't very far. Caprai is on the sagrantino di montefalco wine trial
