We will be in Northern Italy Sept 4th til the 11th .Can anyone tell me when and where the wine Festivals are in Northern Italy such as the Lake Region and Venice areas. I know that Greve is famous for its wine harvest but I do not want to drive south once I am up at the Lakes.

Try looking up the local DOCG websites or consorzio - for example -
I would have to know more precisely where you would be to give a better answer.

We will be in the Venice ares for 4 days first weekend in Sept and then to the Dolomites for 2 days ( around the La Villa area) then on to the Lake district ( staying in Veranna) around the Lake Como . We do have a car and we hope to drive where we can't take a boat. We are pretty much open to where and what we do.
