My wife and I are traveling to Florence I mid-September...
We understand the Duomo is undergoing renovation....
Anyone know if the Dome is closed to tourists?

Tom, the Opera Museum, which is part of the Duomo complex, is closed until November of 2015 but there's no indication on the cathedral's website that there will be a scheduled closure of the dome.
