Does anyone know why Rick has never written a Sicily guidebook?? I see that he is currently blogging form Sicily at the moment and I have always wished he would produce a guidebook for those of us who wish to to Sicily independently with the advice of a good Rick Steves guidebook along for the ride.

I’m preparing for my spring research trip, as I do every year at this time, and I can hardly wait to get back on the guidebook-research trail. This season, I’ll be working on guidebooks in Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Germany, and even getting started on a new guidebook to Sicily.

Not to worry...there are other alternatives which work perfectly well...Lonely Planet, National Geographic, etc.

I am very happy to see the Sicily guidebook is planned.
Now if he would do one for Southern Italy...
