Why is a May papal audience indoors?

We have tickets to attend the Wednesday general audience with the pope on May 25. Our confirmation letter from the papal household states that the audience that day will be in the Pope Paul VI Hall but does not give the reason why. There is no information on the vatican website. There were photos of today's audience (May 11) outside in St. Peter's square. I know they move the event inside for inclement weather, but are there other reasons for holding it inside?
