We will be traveling to Italy this summer and will be staying in Parma for 4 days. We were planning on a day trip to Modena. We would appreciate any suggestions on which Balsamic vinegar factories offer tours and the same with Parma ham or cheese. Thanks in advance.

I did a food tour a couple of years ago from Parma. It included watching parmigiana cheese being made, a prosciutto factory, a winery and a small balsâmico producer. It was worth the money. The one I took was Tours by Laura - or something similar.

We loved Villa San Donnino Balsamic tour on the SE side of Modena. But we had a car to drive there. The tour was small, but excellent. Reservations needed.
