Which Venice hotel?

After extensive reading & thought, I've narrowed it down to 2 wonderful hotels...Albergo Guerrato and Corte Campana B&B. I'm not interested in location as all of RS's hotels are centrally located. Rather I'm interested in charm, balcony/view, terrace/courtyard, great breakfast...some of the things that make a hotel extra special. And of course, helpful and friendly is very important. If anyone can give me any added insights to these hotels to help me make a decision, I would really appreciate it.

Linda - If you don't get the information you're asking for from here, try looking at the hotel reviews on Tripadvisor.com. You're likely to find many comments on each hotel there.

Linda, this past January 1-4 we stayed at Corte Compana and had a wonderful time. The B & B was very charming, although there was no real view or a balcony. Breakfast was very simple. The best part of Corte Compana was Ricardo. He was a very warm, friendly person (as the many people on TripAdvisor will tell you) and made us feel very welcome in Venice. Our quad room was very large and comfortable. I think Ricardo made our trip to Venice especially enjoyable.
