hey hey lulu
so many different tours out there to chose from, all different answers.
few years back we did scenicwinetours.com with Sergio. Was full day and cost about $350 for 4 of us. He sets agenda and it’s just you and family.
tours by Roberto.com he’s recommended by rick Steve’s. Kinda like sergio’s. If you want to go elsewhere, email them and say want you want. I’m sure they get a incentive/kick back with planned tours.
with locals.com
come&seeitaly.com
getyourguide.com
TripAdvisor.com has tours but they are part of viator
stop at a tourists kiosk in town center and see what they have. ask place you’re staying hotel/apt host if they recommend someone. how many people, your budget in euros, half or full day options.
the towns you go to are where others go, sometimes places maybe be crowded, that was how Siena and San g was for us. It is what it is, deal with it or go to unknown areas not over run by tourists. whatever you decide, enjoy have fun

Lulu, my sister and I did that same "Walks of Italy" Tuscany day trip several years ago and enjoyed it immensely. It was well paced, well guided, and we saw several very different locations that were on her "bucket list." I also did (with a different sister) a tour with Tours by Roberto about 5 years ago, which was marvelous. Roberto's tours are much smaller, and cover different places than Walks of Italy. One thing about Roberto: rather than stopping for lunch at a village trattoria, most of his tours now stop for lunch at his own home. I don't know if this is better or worse for the trip and itinerary; it would be worth asking others who have experienced lunch at his farm what this experience was like.

Thank you! I booked the Walks of Italy tour today, so it’s great having your opinion.

I’m trying to figure out other tours to take the day of arrival (from Venice) and the next full day now. I think this is where I make the boys look and give feedback on what they want to do, too.
