Hi all,
I'm going to be in Florence for business and want to get a Eurail or Train pass that will get me to other locations throughout my stay as well as into France...any thoughts?
Also, anyone been to Bologna - heard it's wonderful!

No train pass is best. High Speed trains require seat reservations paid in addition to a pass. Regional trains are very inexpensive and you can download the Trenitalia app, link your credit card, and buy them as you need them. And when you buy a high speed train ticket (also with the app) the seat reservation is included with the price.
