Which app would you recommend to use to purchase train tickets. Looking to depart Rome going to Lucca in September.

Using the Trenitalia app for train tickets would I put in final destination being Lucca? I am traveling from Rome to Lucca. Thank you

I love the Trenitala app. I used it extensively this past month to book trains. It is easy to use. The thing I liked the most is that it also provided me with updates on the journey. Rather than looking at the destination board at the station, it was on my app. I could track the train status which was very useful when I had some tight connections.

Yes, "Lucca" for the town of Lucca. And I'd use "Roma (Tutte Le Stazioni" for Rome, because I don't like to presume to know which station(s) a train might depart from or stop at.
