Which airport in Rome

Plan to do the Rome, Venice and Florence trip this year. Have started looking at flights and when I input Rome two airports pop up. For anyone who has done the trip, coming back to the U.S. from Rome, which airport? Thanks.

FCO. It's the international airport and the main airport in Italy.

FCO is Fiumicino Aeroporto. There is direct rail service to it from Roma Termini (Leonardo Express, be sure to validate your train ticket). There is also bus service, cheaper but with the risk of traffic delays. Or taxi, about €45-48 from central Roma to FCO.

By the time you take getting to the airport, checking in, going thru security, flying, getting off the plane, getting to your hotel--you could have long since been there taking a fast train from city center to city center..
Italian trains are also very well priced, especially when you buy tickets with reservations up to 120 days ahead.
