I have 6 nights in mid April to spend somewhere on the coast in between Genoa and Sestri Levante. I will not have a car so will get around by train and/or bus. I would like to find a mid-range price hotel or apartment with a balcony or terrace with a sea view. I'm trying not to spend more than $250USD per night. Any suggestions? thank you in advance for any input.

Camogli and Rapallo come to mind first - good train connections and the chance to hike or boat to San Fruttuoso or Portofino.

I like also Sestri and Moneglia. Both great towns. Look them up on Google Images. I’ve only gone there by car, but the train is probably better (both have a station walking distance from the shore and the town center). Parking was never easy, although it was always in summer in my case.

We are heading to Milan in September for a wedding. The wedding will be in Santa Margherita and our research so far is very favorable
