I’m trying to decide between hotel la Rovere and Hotel Smeraldo. I’ve spent hours reading reviews. Just trying to get some advice from this forum. Thank you!

Stay in Hotel Smeraldo. The location is great; close to Campo dei Fiore, 5 mins to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, 15 to Piazza Venezia and 25 to the Colosseum. The rooftop bar and restaurant here have amazing views of Rome. There is nothing more relaxing then having drinks on the rooftop bar while watching the sunset. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent.
