We are planning a trip to Milan in mid-June with 3 boys ages 23,21 and 12. Where is a good place to stay? We need 2 rooms and hotels are too expensive.

Check out the Best Western Hotels. Their prices are actually quite reasonable. We stayed at Best Western Major which is located right by a metro stop. It's a beautiful hotel with a great buffet breakfast. Best Westerns are a lot different in Europe than here in the States. Have a great family trip.

Try renting an apartment. More room, usually easier on the wallet when compared to two hotel rooms. Don't have any specific suggestions for Milan but try www.vrbo.com www.homeaway.com or just google milan italy vacation apartment rental
