We have a short stay of 2 nights in Milan. Arriving from Venice and then leaving to Domodossola for trip into Switzerland. A location that's conveniently located between the top tourist sights and the railway station would be ideal. Best if the location is safe and have some good restaurants, and conductive for walking around at night. Where should we look? Is the area around Moscova subway stop good? How about Montenapoleone subway stop area?
After our two nights, we need to depart early to Domodossola to catch the 10 AM Switzerland bound train. It looks like Milan to Domodossola is served by a bus?
