After we leave Florence, we have a few days before we arrive in Orvieto. Will rent a car and wish to travel in the Chianti region. Where is a wonderful play to stay? On a previous trip, have been to Volterra, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, etc. so are looking to spend some time in Chianti, perhaps near Greve? Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks very much!

Take a look at Borgo Argenina. Elena cooks with her guests one evening and then the whole group sits down to a family style meal. We were just enchanted with her breakfast views over the vineyard while we drank our morning cappuccino !

I can recommend two places: Agriturismo Panzanello (http://www.panzanello.it/default.asp?iId=GFGIJI). My SIL and her husband stayed here for five days in late May. They only have a few rooms, however, so book early. Beautiful landscape and a pool. Because the agriturismo was full, my husband and I stayed at an airbnb called Agriturismo Felciano (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2278199). This rental is spacious and much nicer than the pictures. We were a short walk from the main square in Panzano and a short drive from the agriturismo where my in-laws were. A very lovely area and close to Greve.
