We will be coming from Ragusa and environs. We will have already been in Catania for one night as part of the RS Sicily tour. Where might we stay the night before a midday flight that would be pleasant for our last night in Sicily? Are there nearby towns? It will be Dec. 8, the special celebration of the Immaculate Conception. That may enter into our decision. Perhaps we want to be in a larger city to experience this event. Suggestions are appreciated.

We stayed at the Bahai Verde in Asci Castello the night before our flight from Catania to Istanbul a week ago. It’s only a 25 minute drive north of the Catania airport. They also have an airport shuttle. The setting is gorgeous - on the water, beautiful views, great dinner on the outdoor terrace. If you’re looking for a relaxing end to your trip, this fits the bill.
