I am looking to rent an apartment in the Trastevere area in October. I don't want to be in a high tourist area and wondered if this is a good area or is someplace else better.
Our apartment last summer was in the Parioli area (north of the Villa Borghese). There were NO tourists and we enjoyed it very much. Naturally, it takes longer to get to the sights that you might want to visit.
