Where to put carry-on luggage in Pisa?

I am planning to stop by Pisa on my way to Florence, however I will be having a carry-on size luggage. Does anyone know where I would be able to store my luggage? (for instance, will there be any large lockers at the train station where I can put my lugguage?)

The only alternative I can think of is stay overnight in Pisa and then go to Florence the following morning, but I am tight on time and don't want to waste money on a hotel in Pisa.

Also, is 1 day enough for Florence?

Pisa does not have lockers, but they do have a baggage check desk where you can pay to leave your bags while you are out. Just make sure you check at what time they close so you make sure you are back before then to pick up your bag.

One day is enough for Florence depending on what you want to see. Do you want to see the Accademia, Uffizi, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc? Or are you just showing up and hoping to wing it? If so, you will spend a lot of unnecessary time waiting in line when you could get reservations for the Accademia and Uffizi that would let you walk in with no more than a 15-min wait. So really, it depends on what your plans are.

Thanks Steven!

Where exactly is this baggage check desk? and how much do they charge?

As for Florence, I don't want to wing it, so I am actually considering to change my plans to fit in an extra day for Florence. I really want to go to Uffizi, Accademia, and Duomo...anything else that is a must see?? if not, you think I would need 2 days for those 3 places? Where I can I reserve tickets in advance online?
