We are flying from LAX to Rome (FCO) and our son is flying from NYC and meeting us there, since we are arriving about 2 hours apart can anyone recommend a place where we can meet in FCO?

I always meet my peeps in the baggage claim area. Even when flights are "scheduled" to arrive one hour apart, it has been my experience that they can sometimes actually arrive at or near the same time. You don't know until you get there how much time you really have between arriving flights. I have also had to wait quite a long time at baggage claim for my bags while others arriving on a separate flight got their bags right away. YOU DON'T WANT TO DELAY IN CLAIMING YOUR BAGS AS THEY CAN EASILY BE LIFTED BY CROOKS IF LEFT UNATTENDED.
