Can we bring our own food to eat in the vatican? If not, where should we eat since we can't leave unless we are done seeing atleast everything inside the vatican!

There is a cafe at the Vatican Museums. There is no charge to enter St. Peter's Basilica so many people will take a lunch break in between visiting the Basilica and the Museums or even leave the Basilica and then come back.

There's also a coffee bar on the roof of the basilica. Not sure what, if any, food they serve.
