We are renting a car in Sorrento as we want to go inland after the Amalfi but I do not wanr to have to go all the way to the airport to drop off the car.We have a B&B that is 2 blocks from the Colessium.Is ther anywhere that is close that does not involve driving into inner city or airport. Thank you

I would return the car in the hilltown of Orvieto, by the train station, and then take the train into the city. If you have time and want to visit a great hilltown, spend some time, or an overnight, in Orvieto. Have fun on your trip.
