Where to check luggage inPadua for an afternoon?

I'm seeing conflicting answers on the Web as to whether or not the train station or Scrovegni Chapel tourist center will allow us to check our roller bags. We are taking the train from Verona to Venice and have planned a four hour stop in Padua to see the Chapel and the town, but I'm seeing enough "NO baggage check available" statements to give me pause. Does anybody have current experience to provide a definitive answer one way or the other? Thank you!
