Where to buy Firenze pass and do they take credit cards?

The Firenze pass website shows where to pick up your pass if you ordered it online but I cant find where to go if you just want to purchase one.

Also, I read that someone went to a place to purchase and they only took cash, no credit card.

Can anyone help with these 2 questions.

Thank you!

It should be the same list of locations, including the Tourist Information office in the train station, or the one at Via Cavour (this one says credit card only, per p. 488 in Rick's Italy book), the back entrance of Santa Maria Novella (also near the station), and several other locations. For your larger group, the certainty of paying by credit card may be enough reason to buy it online.

Of course, we advise travelers to be prepared with cash for most situations and that includes families and larger groups who often need large amounts of cash in their money belts. Do check/increase account withdrawal limits for those people who will be responsible to carry the funds. Deustche Bank branches will allow large ATM withdrawals, if your own bank also will.

I bought two online with a credit card. You pay in Euros and my card got nailed by the fraud department. Call the credit card company and tell them you are making a few purchases for a trip later. The Firenze Card site will email you a voucher which you can turn in for the hard card at all train stations and a bunch of other local places. It's a real quick deal.

Thanks so much. I will see how our group wants to handle it.

Do you get a separate card for the bus or is it all on one card?

When I picked up mine last week, the bus pass was a seperate ticket from the card, both were in the oversize neck lanyard they give you with the card.
