Hello My husband and I (age 50's)love touring, and lots of walking. Every town seems great but not sure where to book three nights stay and then we travel to Lake Como for three nights. Any ideas anyone?

The Cadogan guide, "Lombardy & the Italian Lakes," has detailed information on the places you're going- - - 17 pages on Lake Como, 25 on Garda. We love this series because they have so much about places that aren't even mentioned elsewhere. Some of our most memorable travel experiences have come from reading our Cadogans. We have also found their hotel and restaurant recommendations to be very reliable.
