My daughter will be in Florence for the month of May, staying near the Santa Reperata School of Art. I will join her for a week at the end of her stay and would like to find a hotel in this area. I'd like to use Rick's hotel recommendations but can't figure out what area to look in. Can anyone tell me what major attractions are near the school so I can find this part of Florence?

I had never heard of the place but I am a dab hand at Google. I put in "Santa Reperata" as a search term in Google and got, in about 10 seconds of looking, http://www.santareparata.org/page40/General/location.html which shows a map of exactly where the school is, on the north side of Florence, northeast of SMN. If you take that map and match it to the one in the Rick Steves book you can find places nearby.
