A random question, admittedly: what is the location where tour buses have to park/wait in Florence? Thanks.

A couple of years ago I was on a shore excursion in Florence from a mediterranean cruise. Our tour bus stopped along the Arno just east of the Biblioteca Nazionale, on Lungarno d. Zecca Vecchia. From there we walked to Piazza Santa Croce for our meeting point. Enjoy your trip!

Tourist buses Drop off and pick up (10 min parking max) is at the following location
Lungarno Pecori Giraldi
Viale Strozzi (next to railway)
Via Giorgio La Pira at via della Dogana (not sure if this is still permitted).
Long term parking is mostly at lungarno Aldo Moro. That's where buses go after dropping off the herds of tourists until it's time to pick them up.
