I'm trying to plan our itinerary for our Lake Como visit. But I'm only finding info up to May 28. Is there any other site besides the one I've referenced in the title for info on ferries?
Trenitalia just released the Regionale schedules for trains operating after June 12. I suspect that the situation here is similar. As the ferries are part of the provincial public transport system, they get some share of the provincial funds to operate. Therefor, there is a negotiation going on between the ferry companies and the government. And you know how negotiations go, down to the wire. If I were you, I would plan that the current schedule remains unchanged. If anything, there should be more frequent service in the busy summer season.
I dug a little deeper and found the Summer 2016 info under "Downloads". Am I right in that the MID LAKE SHUTTLE is the ferry that allows us to "hop on hop off" at the various ports?
I think this is your question. Find the 2 most distant points you want to hop-on-hop-off in the triangular chart and note the fare zone. Then look up that fare zone in the "Free-Circulation Tickets" chart on the left.
Example, between Menaggio and Varenna (including Bellagio) is fare zone 3. The one-day price is 15 EUR, or 45 EUR for one week, for an adult.

Thanks Sam. That is what I was looking for.
