Are Colosseum tickets made available at a particular time (ex: the 1st of the month, 3 months prior)? Looking to buy tickets with a scheduled entrance time for an upcoming trip at the end of August. The blank August calendar makes it seem as though tickets are either sold out or not yet available; finding the Coopculture site very confusing. Any advice?

Colosseum tickets are released on the first Monday of the month at 9am Rome time. They will release quarterly tickets on the 11th at 9am for July, August and September dates. You can read through this for more information on booking these tickets/tours.

I am simply looking to buy tickets for Coliseum. I understand the no date and time thing and have 2 days to visit different sites. However you referred this link and I still was not understanding. This talked about underground tour. I simply want to purchase 2 tickets to see the Coliseum Forum and whatever else you can see on that single purchase ticket.

And again my understanding from this conversation thread, is that I won't be able to purchase a ticket until Sept 1, because I want to go around Sept 25th, correct? And this is the web site I was looking at: www.coopculture.it.

Also after reading other reviews. What do you think of the underground Coliseum tour?
