I am about to book a tour with this company and wondered if anyone had used them recently. My husband and I have been to Rome before,but will now have our two teenage sons with us who love history,so I thought having a guided tour to Pompeii and to the Vatican would be ideal. Any thoughts would be welcome.

You can easily book a tour of Pompeii at the gates from very knowledgeable guides. You can book a tour of the vatican museums at their website:

Doing it this way will save you a lot of time and money. If you decide to go with a tour company, especially to Pompeii, really check into what the tour include. Most only stay at the ruins for 2-3 hours and then take you to cameo factories to encourage you to buy their products. Doing it on your own will allow you to stay as long as you like and even go to the Naples museums if you choose. It's a very easy day trip to do on your own. You may want to look into it.
