Hi Trisha - not sure if this is the reason for your diet restrictions, but while visiting Rome last year I found out that Celiac Disease is pretty common in Italy. In fact, the government provides a stipend for those citizens who have it so they can buy their specialty products. Ain't that something??
Anywho, while I don't know of any place in particular, I do know that Acilia (west of Rome right before Ostia) has a selection of bakeries, restaurants and pasta shops that focus on a gluten free menu. It's off the normal route, but it's a start!

I do have it. I wish the US would do that. I have to pay so much extra. I make lots of stuff though
I can't wait to try to find this place
