What will be open in Rome on All Saints Day?

We will be in Rome in late October and on All Saints Day, Nov. 1. It looks like all museums are closed for this national and religious holiday. Does anyone know if shops and restaurants be open? Will churches be open to visit? We wonder if Rome will be more - or less - crowded than usual? Thank you!

Julia, the museums I quickly scanned - with the exception of the Vatican's - are open on Tuesday, Nov. 1. This includes the Borghese, Capitoline, National Roman Museum complex, etc. It's Monday that the National Museums are closed...as they normally are. The Colosseum/Forum/Palatine are open during this period as well.

The Vatican Museums are open on Monday, Oct. 31.

The Nov. 1 question has come up in previous threads, and respondents have indicated that most tourist attractions and restaurants will be open.

You will hardly notice it is a holiday, although buses will be on their Sunday-and-Holiday schedule, so less frequent. Lots of families have outings and eat lunch out. Via Appia Antica usually has a lot of foot traffic, as well as Via Fori Imperiali and the Parco degli Acquedotti.
