For past travelers, what kind of weather can we expect in the Florence area, Venice area around June 15th. Will it be hot and humid, or just warm with little or no humidity?
Go here historical weather data for your location & your dates, input your locations and dates, data will be neatly summarized. This is more reliable than relying on someone here saying "we were there last year and the weather was blah-blah-blah."
Thanks for the link. Very useful info to travel destinations. Found out exactly what I want.
Another good weather page:

Enter the city and note the average high and low temps for each month. I have found that method the best we can do when predicting weather.
Using prior years averages can be right only half the time. Even when it rains, it is light and brief. Take a poncho and be prepared.
you may already have what you need, but weatherunderground.com is a good site as well. If you go to trip planner, and type in your information, it will give you the averages over the past 10 years or so (it gives alot of helpful information). I used it for when I went in february, and it was really helpful and pretty accurate.
We were in Italy mid to late June of last year. It was cool in Venice. Maybe in the 60's? We wore long pants and light sweaters. Florence and Siena were warmer, but long pants were still OK. But we were glad our hotels were air conditioned. By the time we got to Rome it was in the 90's.
We were there about the same time last year. Florence and Siena were warm but comfortable. We wore capris or very light pants, short sleeve shirts and sandals. We were very glad to have our A/C. I remember being glad I had reserved tickets to the Accademia and didn't have to stand in the very long line in the hot sun to get in--we walked right in.
Did not go to Venice.
You've already gotten several good comments re: weather perspective and websites to review ...... my further feedback is to consider "relativity" and consider the source.
You're from San Francisco, and what temps (and dewpoint, don't forget that factor!) will "feel" hot/humid for you may be at a lower point than others who live in a different climate. For example, the poster who described "60's" as being "cool" ..... to you, that may feel perfectly comfortable and little different than where you're coming from.
I've come to the conclusion that Forence and Siena will be considered 'very warm' to us, according to our standards. Yes, being from San Francisco, the 60's-70's is very comfortable for us. Thanks for all the input.
