What tour would you recommend for Florence

I will only have one day in Florence (cruise stop). What tour would you recommend for a small group of 8 to 10? I don't see the Rick Steves has a do it yourself tour for this city.

In Rick's Mediterranean Cruise Ports guidebook, Florence is described as a place where you might want to take the boat's shore excursion for convenience, but it is also doable by public transport. Direct trains run from Livorno station to Firenze SMN station. Once you arrive in the center of Florence, distances are very walkable for most people, or you could take a couple of taxis. The book includes do-it-yourself tour information for the main museums as well as a city Renaissance walk; you can also download these as free audio tours to your mobile listening device. Private tour guides listed Rick's Florence chapter would also be appropriate for your group size and tend to charge $60-75 per hour. It's wise to reserve Uffizzi and Accademia museum entry online in advance; the next alternative is to buy a skip-the-line Florence Card, rather expensive at 72 euros per person.
