First, you may want to edit your post and remove some of the line breaks, so it's easier to read. Here are several sources of information about your cruise. Rick Steves Mediterranean Cruise Ports (second edition now out) will have information on your ports, transfer options, hotels, excursions, etc. Cruise Critic is the best general website for cruise information. Here are their Roll Calls, where you can sign up and meet others on your sailing. You can then arrange to share a port to city transfer, or split the cost of a private tour: http://tinyurl.com/ap7h55m Here is their Italy forum: http://tinyurl.com/bwqtmhk. They also have forums for your other ports. Here is their Venice Port review: http://tinyurl.com/cscz8z7. They also have reviews of your other ports.
Yeah, I'd delete this post and start over. I think you tried to put the schedule into a table, didn't work and now it's really long and hard to figure out. Try it like this: Mon, Livorno (Florence) 7 am to 7 pm
Tues, Provence (Marseilles) 8 am to 5 pm Then we can easily see what day of the week, what city, and how long you have. At the start of your question, put the dates, Oct 21-30.
We took a different cruise but did stop in Kotor. The most amazing cruise up the river to get to Kotor- do not miss. The city is very small. Just wander the back alleys-had a great lunch of fresh squid. The churches are old but a must see. A lot of the people on the ship did climb the hill behind the town to the church and then there is a further climb to the fort. The ship does offer tours into Rome from Civitavecchi- there are taxi's at the port that you can take into Romeas well or the train and you can tour on your own BUT do have an itinerary(RS book)so you make it back to the ship- same with all the stops, tours are offered but some are expensive.
