What to do in and around Turin

My husband has business in Turin in June. I'm going along, we'll be in Turin for three days (then on to Cinque Terres). Since Rick doesn't include Turin in his book, any suggestions? We won't have a car. I like to do things the Rick Steves way! Thanks

Elizabeth,
There are great piazza to walk through. I liked the Egyptian museum and the Palace for tours. Piazza Reale and Piazza San Carlo are nice. The duomo of st John the Baptist is pretty popular. Had a nice meal at C'era una Volta on Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Thanks very much. We have one day completely free until dinner if there are any day trips out by train that anyone recommends.
