What to do in a full day near Buenconvento, Tuscany?

My family and I are busy planning our trip to Italy in June. We are in Tuscany for 5 nights: 2 nights Florence, 2 nights in an agriturismo near a town called Buenconvento, and then 1 night in Lucca. We have most of our plans figured out, but our visit to Tuscany between Florence and Lucca is a bit hazy. I would like to find out whether you think that it is okay to visit San Gimignano and Siena on our way from Florence to Buenconvento with our rental car (day 1), and I would like you to kindly advise what we must do on our full day (day 2) in the Tuscan countryside? I have no idea which towns or wine farms are worth visiting, or which regions like Val d'Orcia can be seen in one day? I would basically like you to just tell me which farms/towns/views to admire in our full day. I thank you in advance!

The RS Val d’Orcia drive is easily done from Buonconvento in one day or less depending on how many stops/visits you do along the way

Winery visits must be arranged in advance, if you intend to wine taste you will need a designated driver

I would prioritize visits to Pienza and Montepulciano. If time for a third -Bagno Vignoni

Trying to fit both SG and Siena on your way from Florence likely means you are shortchanging Siena

SG could be done on your way to Lucca

Just make sure your luggage is hidden before you park and take valuables with you
