I am staying at two different Airbnbs in Florence. It appears that I can’t do an early check in for the second one. The host hasn’t indicated that I can drop off my luggage before checking in. I have up to 4 hours to kill. Is there a place to leave things like a locket, or should I try to find a bar or a coffee shop or a museum? I’ll be near the Duomo. Any recommendations ?

Have you checked out Bounce or other storage apps? Looks like there is a Bounce place 5 minutes from the Duomo. We will be in Florence in May - so excited!

When you're at the first AIrBnB...scout out locations for a base for those 'up to 4 hours' before moving into the second AirBnB. Outdoor cafes abound, even around the perimeter of Piazza della Republicca. Have a nice leisurely lunch, stash your suitcases under the table, and watch the world go by. There are worse ways to spend a few hours...

Actually the host of the second let me check in early so I didn’t have to look for a place to wait until it was ready.
